EAGP at the All-Russia GMP Conference

This year, the All-Russia GMP Conference took place from 27 to 29 September in Yekaterinburg.

On 27 September, as part of the conference, the Eurasian Academy of Good Practices hosted a panel session titled Systems Perspective on Professional Education as Factor of Advanced Pharma Development. This was the first open dialog bringing together the relevant agencies and the industry. Its participants were able to discuss topical issues such as shortage of staff and providing pharma with a skilled workforce, with a particular focus on streamlining the industry’s professional training.
On 28 September, the Academy organized a coffee meeting for international delegates where they could get to know each other better and discuss future formats of international cooperation in an informal setting. The event featured guests from 12 countries, including Martha Veronica Reyes Alvarez, Minister of Health of the Republic of Nicaragua.
The same day, 28 September, the Academy held a tutorial for university staff on using VR Pharma Factory for Universities. The session started with a welcome address by Vladislav Shestakov, President of the Eurasian Academy of Good Practices and the mind behind the innovative training solution. This was followed by an interactive demonstration of the main implemented VR scenarios hosted by the Academy’s experts. Apart from university staff, the tutorial was joined by master’s students in industrial pharma.

Besides, the conference provided a platform for many more productive meetings featuring the authorities and the business community.

As is customary, the All-Russia GMP Conference was hosted by Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade together with the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices. The hybrid events attracted guests from over 25 countries.
