III International "GxP-Profi 2024"– industry competition of innovations in the field of pharmaceutical production quality. The competition brings together the most advanced pharmaceutical companies from Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union countries, setting benchmarks to help build the potential of the entire industry. The competition is organised by the Eurasian Academy of Good Practices jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia with the support of the Eurasian Economic Commission

The value of the contest, in addition to recognising the merits of each of the nominees in the field of innovation, is that by popularising the best industry projects, it motivates all participants of the pharmaceutical industry to develop, develop and implement the most advanced innovative technologies at domestic pharmaceutical production facilities.

This year "GxP-Profi 2024" will take place between 1 July and 28 November 2024.

Contest objective: Promoting the growth potential of the pharmaceutical industry through the development and implementation of innovations in the production of medicines.

Objectives:

• Identification of pharmaceutical companies manufacturing medicines of the Eurasian Economic Union - leaders of innovation in the field of quality;
• Broadcasting the best innovative solutions on an industry scale;
• Enhancing the prestige of the Eurasian Economic Union's drug manufacturers and developing competitive advantages in global markets.

To participate in the contest, companies are invited to submit a project with the implementation of innovative solutions aimed at improving the quality system of a pharmaceutical company - manufacturer of medicines. Projects are evaluated by an independent expert commission, which includes representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, leading international and Russian experts in the pharmaceutical industry.

The competition organisers guarantee the confidentiality of the projects submitted to the competition and the objectivity of their expert evaluation.

The competition will give drug manufacturing companies an opportunity to demonstrate their achievements, declare the authorship of innovations and their ownership of the company, receive an independent assessment by experts, win public recognition and compete for a prestigious industry award.

The experience of managing a company focused on quality innovations receives wide coverage in the professional environment and the media every year. Traditionally, the results of the competition will be presented at a specialised information session during the Pharmtech & Ingredients 2024 exhibition, and the winners will be announced at the TASS conference with the participation of the heads of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, CEOs of the winning companies of GXP-Profi 2024 and the Eurasian Academy of Good Practices.

Stages of the contest:

• Registration of participants (remotely) - from 01 July to 01 October 2024. Project teams register on the Academy's website at the link gxp-academy.org/gxp-profi and place anonymised (to ensure confidentiality as well as unbiased peer review) project summaries in the participant's personal cabinet.
• The qualifying stage of the competition (remotely) is from 12 October to 25 October 2024. Independent evaluation of the submitted projects is carried out. The results of the evaluation will be published in the participants' personal accounts on 28 October 2024. Only the names of the finalists will be publicly available.
• The final stage (hybrid format) will take place in November 2024. The project teams admitted to the final will make a presentation and defence of the project in person and/or via videoconference. Based on the results of the work of the Expert Committee of the competition, the winners will be determined.
• Counselling - from 01 July to 11 October 2024. Carried out on issues of organisational, content and information-technical nature on projects by Academy staff.
• Summarising the results of the competition at a TASS press conference in November 2024. Held with the participation of CEOs of the winning companies.
• The award ceremony for the finalists and winners of the competition will take place in the first half of December 2024 at the official reception of pharmaceutical industry leaders with the presentation of honourable industry awards to CEOs of pharmaceutical companies "GXP-Profi 2024" heads of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and representatives of the competition organising committee.
