2023 GxP-Profi Winners and Finalists Honored with Awards

On December 8, 2023, the three companies hitting the podium at the international professional excellence awards GxP-Profi received badges of honor and medals as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices.

The runner-ups were also honored, some of them garnering special awards from the partners of the Eurasian Academy of Good Practices.

Out of 24 projects submitted this year, 11 qualified for the finals. Binnopharm Group emerged victorious, followed by Geropharm and R-Pharm (second and third prizes respectively). The winners were awarded GxP-Profi badges of honor and 2023 GxP-Profi medals. Companies such as Akrikhin, Belmedpreparaty, Biocad, Biosintez, Canonpharma Production, Microgen, Polysan and Pharmasyntez-Nord were all recognized with badges of honor.  

Liliya Titova, Executive Director of the Union of Professional Pharmaceutical Organizations, praised Pharmasyntez-Nord for its innovative engineering solution and honored Binnopharm Group with a special award.

Belmedpreparaty was celebrated in the International Partnership category on behalf of Aleksey Kedrin, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of the Eurasian Economic Union.  

Besides, this year, the contest organizers introduced a possibility to vote for your favorite project at the Academy’s website. Over 4,500 people took part in the popular vote. Binnopharm Group came out on top, garnering 1,020 votes. Belmedpreparaty came second, followed by Akrikhin, with 976 and 636 votes respectively.

The expert committee of the contest received special thanks for all their efforts in evaluating the entries. The Eurasian Academy of Good Practices awarded the committee members with the 2023 Expert-Profi badges of honor.

At the end of the ceremony, all the 2023 GxP-Profi participants were celebrated for their contribution to the development of pharma quality assurance. The organizers invited pharma companies from across the Eurasian Economic Union to take part in the 2024 edition of the contest.
